A COMPLETE ITINERARY

Day 1

Explore the Skanderbeg Memorial and historic centre, then climb Lezhë Castle in the cooler afternoon light.

Day 2

Walk the Shëngjin waterfront, continue to Rana e Hedhun and finish with a relaxed seafood dinner by the coast.

Plan your trip

Best time

April to June and September to October suit history, nature and food. July and August bring hot weather, busier beaches and more traffic around Shëngjin.

Getting around

Lezhë is easy to reach from Tirana or Shkodër. A car is the practical choice for the castle, Rana e Hedhun, Tale, Kallmet and the rural stops.

Nature care

Use marked roads and paths in Kunë–Vain, keep distance from birds, take all rubbish away and never drive vehicles over dunes or sensitive beach habitat.

Before you go

Confirm memorial and winery hours, reserve tastings, carry sun protection and check local swimming, road and weather conditions.
